Поглед отвътре: Мачът с Баросо и пътят дотам

Подготовката за мача ми срещу Анхел Адриан Баросо беше не просто интензивна – тя беше ключова стъпка в развитието ми като професионален боксьор.

Behind the Scenes: The Barroso Fight and the Road Leading to It

My preparation for the fight against Angel Adrian Barroso wasn't just intense — it was a crucial step in my development as a professional boxer. Part of that preparation took place in England, where I had the opportunity to spar with fighters ranked in the top 10 of the world rankings. Those sessions didn't just test my physical condition — they built within me a level of confidence and self-belief that can only come from facing the very best.

And I needed that confidence — because what was ahead of me was something completely new: stepping out in front of a crowd of over 10,000 people. It was the first time I had ever fought in front of such a massive and loud arena. The feeling? Indescribable. The adrenaline coursed through every part of my body.

And then I heard the chant — "Bulgarians – heroes!" The entire arena echoed with those words. That energy, those voices… it felt like they gave me an extra surge of strength. In moments like that, you're not just an athlete — you're a representative of your country, of spirit, of pride.

So I didn't hesitate. I finished the fight in the very first round. I closed one chapter and opened another — one filled with more motivation, more belief, and a clear direction forward.

This match was special not just because of the result, but because of everything behind the scenes — the preparation, the sacrifices, and the people who believed in me. I'm grateful to everyone who stood by my side on this journey.

The weeks spent training in England were transformative. Working alongside elite-level fighters and coaches exposed me to a different level of boxing entirely. Every sparring session was a masterclass, every training drill pushed me beyond what I thought was possible. When you're sharing the ring with fighters who have competed for world titles, you realize that the gap between good and great isn't as wide as you might think — but it requires everything you have to bridge it.

The technical work we did during that camp was precise and purposeful. We analyzed every aspect of my game — from my stance adjustments to my timing on combinations. But more than the physical improvements, it was the mental shift that made the difference. Learning to think like a world-class fighter, to see openings that only come from experience at the highest level.

Carrying the hopes of Bulgarian boxing into that arena was both an honor and a responsibility. Every time I step into the ring, I know I'm not just fighting for myself — I'm fighting for every young Bulgarian who dreams of making it in professional boxing. That legacy is something I take seriously.

We keep moving forward. With heart. With belief. With Bulgaria behind me.

Each fight teaches us something new, and this victory showed me that I'm ready for whatever comes next. The path to the top is becoming clearer with every step.
